Universal Launches a Music Store Without DRM: Lost Tunes
Universal Music has released Lost Tunes, its own music service that offers rare music without DRM on a quality almost without loss. The choice of name could be considered a challenge against Apple's iTunes service, which allegedly wants to offer songs that Universal is making available through its new service as downloads without DRM.
Universal describes the service as a "revolutionary downloads online store devoted to exclusivities, rarities and forgotten classics." Azi Eftehari, Head of Digital Media for Universal Music Catalog commented: "We wanted Lost Tunes replicate the experience of going to a favorite local music store where explore and discover new music is a great pleasure and an adventure. After Water, Phoenix Perchlorate Found on Mars, a Substance That Makes It Uninhabitable
The probe "Phoenix" of the U.S. space agency Nasa has detected on Mars traces of perchlorate, a substance high-oxidant content, which reduces the possibility that the red planet may be habitable. In the last month, the laboratory that built the lead Phoenix has analyzed two tests taken from the soil of Mars that indicate that one component of the surface could be perchlorate, according to NASA explained in a statement.
